Baseball Season Is Over But Game Goes On

The middle school baseball season ended last week with a loss to their rival team only a few miles down the road.  They were up for playoffs and lost out on the last game of the season.  It was a disappointment for Joel, however, the high school coach pulled him up to the J. Varsity team where he might play to help them finish out the season.  They have approximately 6 more games left and are slated to go to the playoffs.  Joel himself had a great year and is currently pitching 78 - 80 mph.  He pitched 17 strikeouts against 89 batters.  He had 16 hits that ended up on base and his batting average was 0.312.  So even though his age group's season is over the game continues on.
